Dr. Simon Widmaier has a biophysics background and a PhD in molecular simulation from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. In addition, he has founded four successful start-ups within the last 10 years, the latest with focus on a miniatured screening platform for drug discovery in pharma research (“Aquarray”). Simon joined faCellitate in March 2020 after having successfully acquired a Horizon 2020 grant of € 2.5M for his previous company and transferred the business activities into the next phase.
